Participants should be prepared to interact (on Zoom) with a simulated client participant (actor) for one 5-7 minute interval. Participants will receive basic information about the client before the session begins. The session is set up to recreate a 1 hour clinical session, with each participant taking on the role of the clinician for one interval. Participants may stop at any time within that interval and ask for assistance or feedback as needed. Once the interval ends, there will be an opportunity for discussion of the experience, feedback from other participants and the instructor and preparation for the participant who will then take on the next interval. The actor will not respond during these moments in order for the experience to be seamless. Please come prepared to participate and support this mutual learning experience. A roster for the session will be created, however, it is possible that not all participants will have a chance to be in the role of the clinician.
